Volkswagen Vento Review
India is one of the major market places for German automaker Volkswagen AG Group. The company has been launching innovative and new car models especially targeted to consumers in India. Following the success of Polo hatchback, the company launched the new Volkswagen Vento in 2010 July.
Volkswagen Vento is the sedan version of Volkswagen Polo. So far Honda City is supposedly the best sedan of its segment, VW Group believes that the Vento will overcome the race as this product is designed with ample of innovative technologies, lots of luxury features and all of that coming with attractive price tag. Vento mainly competes with Honda City and the other competitors of this car are Maruti SX4, Tata Manza, Ford Fiesta and Chevrolet Aveo.

There are totally five variants of Volkswagen Vento that are available in India at present. The model comes with both petrol and diesel engine options with the displacement of 1598 cc with five speed manual gearbox transmission and optional six speed automatic gearbox transmission. Volkswagen Vento exterior is more or less similar to its hatchback version Polo as the both of the models have an uplifted bolder front grille. Stow N’ Go Seats For Extra Storage Space
The need for more storage space seems to be growing considerably. This can hold true in the home and in the office. Even cars today might have to be included in this need for more storage space. As people get to be more mobile, they usually want to bring quite a growing number of things along with them. And these items might require additional storage spaces that may end up located in cars.

When the seats are fully in use, there are storage spaces also offered under the floor that would otherwise have been used to keep the seats folded.
In trying to stow the seats, it is important to remove objects from the floor storage area because you may need to lift the floor panels up and going towards the front of the vehicle. After ensuring that the space is already clear, the armrests of the seats must be raised until they come parallel with the seatbacks. The head restraints are then pressed down against the seat tops making sure that the cup holders found at the back of the seats remain in the closed position. There is a lever located on the side of each seat cushion. This is used to drop the seatbacks downward, so that they are able to rest on the top of the lower seat cushion.
After that, a small lever-like mechanism is used to lock the folding storage bin panels on the floor into a solid unit, making it easier for them to be opened. Hinges for the storage space panels can be found on the floor area that is just behind the driver and passenger seats up front. A circular plastic pull tab is then used to open and reveal the storage area wherein the collapsed seats may be stored under the van’s flooring. After lowering the collapsed seats onto the storage area, the rigid storage panel is then dropped over the collapsed seats. This provides some space for extra cargo room.
